Lobby System

Mod Sync

Share your mods, download missing files, deploy, and launch the game from a lobby.

Mod Sync is how a lobby agrees on the same pack. The host picks mods from their Library. Guests download anything they lack, then everyone Deploys and Launches from the room.

Nexus metadata

Only mods that already have Nexus Mods identity (modId and fileId) can be shared. Import those files through Nexus / NXM so Arsenal can resolve downloads for guests. See Adding Mods.

Configure mods (host)

  1. Click Configure mods (pencil) or Add mods from library
  2. The dialog CONFIGURE MODS lists eligible Library mods
  3. Filter by All Library or a profile
  4. Search with Search mods...
  5. Check the mods to share (row click or checkbox). Select-all applies to the visible list
  6. Click Apply

Empty dialog: No mods with Nexus data in your library.

Apply sends the ordered list to the room and keeps option selections from the library or profile.

If the host has not added anything yet:

RoleEmpty copy
HostNo mods configured. Add mods from your library to share them with the lobby.
GuestNo mods specified. The host hasn't added any mods to this lobby yet.

Mods required on create/edit is only a listing flag. It does not fill this list.

Load order and options (host)

Drag the handle (Drag to reorder) to change order.

Configure options opens the usual option / sub-option table. The host can save. Guests can open it read-only. After a change, that mod's deploy color turns yellow until the next successful deploy.

Guest downloads

Each row shows whether the file is already in your Library.

StatusWhat to do
In LibraryGreen check. Ready to deploy
MissingDownload from Nexus. Premium accounts can download in-app with one click. Others open the Nexus file page to download in-app
Downloading / queued / installingProgress overlay

Completed lobby downloads install into the Library automatically when they belong to the room's mod set.

Deploy, purge, launch

These three buttons sit under the mod list. Host and guests can all use them.

ButtonEffect
Purge all modsRemoves deployed files from the game data folder (same as Mod Management purge) and resets lobby deploy tracking
DeployInstalls the lobby loadout and selected options. Status: Deploying..., Deployed!, Failed, or Error
Launch Helldivers 2Starts the game. The button ignores extra clicks for a few seconds while it is running

Deploy uses the lobby list and option selections, not whichever profile you had open in Mod Management.

Row colors

Same meaning as deployment status in a profile:

ColorMeaning
RedNot deployed
Yellow / orangeDeployed, but options or order changed
GreenDeployed and matching the snapshot

Player badges in the room summarize how many of the lobby mods that person has deployed.
